At Ramalynn Montessori Academy, we believe that the core of successful teaching is by example—a lesson without words. Our goal is to help each child to develop as a complete human being, adaptable to changes in time, place and culture. At the same time, we foster each child’s intelligence and courage to envision a better world and to cause transformation.

We are the opposite of a big school. We intentionally limit enrollment because we believe that small class sizes benefit students by allowing them to develop personal relationships with their teachers and their peers. And the Montessori philosophy lets children develop according to their individual interests and abilities, rather than limiting them to a grade level. Ramalynn maintains a student-teacher ratio of no more than 15 students for every teacher. This high standard allows our staff to focus on each child; no students “slip through the cracks” or “just get by” at Ramalynn.
