Ramalynn’s extra-curricular athletic program encourages students of all ages, genders, athletic abilities, and skill levels to participate in a wide variety of sports.
Every student—regardless of prior experience—gets playing time, coaching attention, and respect from their peers.
And, the results are stunning, our alumnae includes high-school all-stars, dozens of Division 1 athletes, NFL players, NHL players, professional basketball players, and many, many more who play sports for enjoyment as adults.
Although our skills drills were developed with help from sporting professionals like PGA golf pros and baseball star Kirby Puckett—our program is not just about learning how to catch the ball or score points. As an extension of our overall curriculum, our goal is to help our students develop valuable life skills.
As a result, our program focuses on:
- Exposure students to a wide variety of sports
- In-depth understanding of strategy and decision making
- The importance of teamwork and self-discipline
- Body awareness and maximizing talents
- Pattern recognition and statistics
- Leadership, self-confidence, and individual improvement
- Comradery and fun
Ramalynn offers sports programming after-school during the school year and throughout the summer. All sports are co-ed and available to ages (6-14).
Although sports vary slightly from year-to-year, students usually have the opportunity to participate in:
- Floor hockey
- Recreational swimming
