This week we went to the State Capitol to see Mark Dayton, the governor of Minnesota, sign a bill and make it a real law. The law helped give money to kids who can’t afford to participate in sports learn to golf. While were there, we learned a lot about the state capitol building, too. The capitol has a very high, dome ceiling and are a lot of pictures on the ceiling of stars and horses. We went to the field trip as part of our unit on Minnesota government. I hope we get to go again soon.
