Jordan Taylor, a former Ramalynn student was once a member of Ms. Darla, Ms. Julie, and Mr. Krishna’s classes. As an athlete, Jordan won the Ramalynn Soccer Championship, two Ramalynn Super Bowl Titles and the Ramalynn Mini State Tournament Hockey Championship.
Jordan went on to attend high school at Benilde St. Margaret’s, where he led the Red Knights to a state championship. He was also named Minnesota’s Mr. Basketball during his senior year.
From Benilde, Jordan went on to the University of Wisconsin where he led the Badgers to the NCAA basketball tournament four times, including a trip to the elite eight. As a Badger, Taylor was a finalist for the Bob Cousy Award and broke the NCAA record for assists to turnover ratio!
Jordan has since played professional basketball in the NBA and Europe. During the off season, he and his investors are developing medical technology that he hopes will one day allow a surgeon in the United States to perform a surgery in a village in Africa. Jordan also donates a large portion of his time in the fall to coaching the Ramalynn Football team.
