1. How long were you at Ramalynn for?
I was at Ramalynn for eight years.
2. Did you participate in any extracurricular activities at RMA? If so, what were your favorite moments?
I participated in, I believe, every extracurricular activity there was to offer. My favorite moments were winning the Stanley/Ramalynn Cup in the Sports Room, as well as playing Fritz in the Nutcracker.
3. What was student life like at RMA?
Student life was a fantastic mix of allowing for individuality, as well as providing expert guidance from teachers when needed.
4. What school tradition were you most excited about each year?
Sports Camp/Minnesota Thunder Academy soccer games!
5. What were some of your favorite memories of your time at Ramalynn?
It is less a specific memory, but a general feeling of comfort around teachers and classmates that I enjoyed being around every day.
6. What did you do after you graduated from Ramalynn?
After Ramalynn, I followed in the footsteps of Ravi Ramlingam at St. Paul Academy where I did not accomplish nearly as much as him on the pitch but I did make All-Conference in Soccer. (I assume he was All-State). After SPA, I went to the George Washington University in D.C. where I interned and then worked for a Congressman.
7. What do you think of your education compared to your friends who went to other schools? Did you feel more prepared for high school and college?
I was vastly more prepared for college than my peers thanks to the style of learning at Ramalynn. College requires you to figure out your own learning style, which is something I learned very early on at Ramalynn.
8. If you could describe your RMA experience in two sentences, what would it be?
I was very fortunate. I hope others can have the same experience.
9. What are you up to these days?
After working in Congress, I moved to Denver to work on lobbying at the municipal level.
10. What are your future aspirations and goals in life?
To see the Vikings win a Super Bowl!
